Tribune Takeover: Inside Utah Journalism with The Salt Lake Tribune
The Event Series
This September and October, reporters and editors from the award-winning Salt Lake
Tribune will visit the University of Utah for Tribune Takeover, a special speaker
series hosted through COMM 4555: Intermediate Journalism.
Throughout the series, Tribune journalists will share how they report, edit, photograph,
analyze, and tell stories that matter to Utah communities. Sessions will offer students
a behind-the-scenes look at how modern newsrooms operate and how journalists cover
beats including politics, education, religion, culture, sports, data, visual storytelling,
and enterprise reporting.
